AFM Hardseal was designed for one purpose: to seal off-gassing of previous coatings. However, it only comes in a gloss sheen and it does not have much abrasion resistance. A much better product would be our AFM Polyureseal BP which comes in three sheens and provides excellent moisture and abrasion resistance. It also blocks VOC emissions as well as the HardSeal.2-3 coats are recommended. Samples are available to insure it bonds well. We recommend lightly sanding the paint to provide some tooth.
