This would require testing to make sure this product is able to penetrate. A light sand would be best to even color and absorption.
We have an old hardwood floor and where a the original stain or coating has worn off considerably. It does not have any plastic coating. We were going to have it sanded, but told that it is too thin to sand. Could we apply this over the partial stain without sanding? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Naturals Oil Wax Finish Wood Stains & Sealers
