If you want one product that can probably do everything you are asking for here, we suggest you test with AFM Safecoat EXT Exterior Polyureseal Clear. It definitely will work over raw wood, indoors and outdoors.The AFM EXT product will also work over painted surfaces. Milk Paint, provided it is water-based and non-glossy, there is a good chance it will bond, but we recommend testing first. (we sell sample sizes for that purpose).For Milk paint surfaces we would also recommend AFM Safecoat Acrylacq - but that is interior only, it would not hold up outdoors.
