Sorry, none of our AFM products will adhere nor seal the petroleum solvents that are off-gassing from stains. Your best bet is to use a shellac product made by Zinsser called BIN Shellac.
We made a headboard using a oil based product and was wondering if this product would work for our headboard to seal the VOCs smell from the stain? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Acrylacq, Matte Wood Stains & Sealers
