Can this product be used to seal/protect ceramic painted tiles (Ex: acrylic paint pouring on tiles)? I am trying to find a product that is both waterproof and that can tolerate high heat - like that of hot coffee mugs. Hello Janette, Thanks for your question. The AFM SafeCoat AcriGlaze is not recommended for ceramic tile. For sealing/protecting ceramic tiles I would recommend AFM SafeCoat Mexeseal. Unfortunately neither of these products are considered food grade and I would not recommend them for use on a coffee mug.
