Can this be used to coat animal enclosures? I have some large reptiles that need to have their tanks recoated but my old product is no longer in production.

Provided the animal enclosures are made of wood and are not under a lot of water/moisture, yes, you could use Hard Seal. Emphasis here on "made of wood", this will not work on metal or glass.With the caveat we have no products that will withstand being under water, and no products that are immune to the acidic nature of urine.
