I am restoring old wooden (tongue and groove) countertops. I want a topical sealer that fills in the cracks and creates a good hard waterproof matte surface for my countertop. Is Acrylacq matte a good choice for me?

The best protective finish for your wood countertops is the AFM SafeCoat Polyureseal BP. 3 coats would be standard in providing good abrasion resistance. The AFM sealers are thin, so if you have cracks that need filled, we'd recommend using a wood filler first, to fill in any gaps.
