I have put up paintable wallpaper in my kitchen. I painted it with a pearl metallic water based paint and didn't notice the cancer warning. Now I am wondering if I get your AFM Safecoat Polyureseal BP could I brush or roll a coat of this on to seal off the other paint and be able to wipe down any splatters with only 1 coat? You could use the AFM Safecoat Polyureseal BP to go over your painted surface to block in the off gassing. However, the testing that AFM Safecoat has done for their product encapsulation has been with 3 coats. It is possible that less than 3 coats could be effective but it has not been tested.
