Sealing petroleum based products is certainly challenging and the only product we have found that works is Zinsser Bin Shellac in the unwaxed form.
What would you use to seal up the toxic smell of a petroleum based caulk? I tried 7 coats of Acrylacq which diminished it somewhat, but the toxic smell is still there. Would Hardseal or Polyureseal BP be a better choice? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Hard Seal Wood Stains & Sealers
