Would this be good to seal and protect raw poplar rabbit hutch? It is an indoor rabbit. Would it make the wood washable/waterproof?

This product Acrylacq will provide a clear coat on-top of the wood that will protect it from moisture. Choosing a higher sheen with a high gloss would allow it to become more washable. A similar product that is high gloss and cheaper cost would be Hard Seal. Although these products are considered non-toxic, they are not edible.
