Presuming you have done your homework and found a paint/tile combination that works (if your tile is already sealed/glazed/waterproofed it will not take on paint or primer well) - provided your paint is water-based and not glossy then yes, you can go over that painted surface with Polyureseal BP. If you painted with gloss or semi-gloss paint you will need to de-gloss first (lightly sand to remove the gloss and add a degree of grit that the Poly can grab hold of).For the clearest visual of the painted tile, we recommend starting with an initial coat of Poly BP in Gloss sheen. You can then go over that with whatever you wish the final sheen to be (Matte, Satin or Gloss).
