I'm putting up new drywall and want to know which afm products are best suited to seal off toxic off gassing. From what I read, is it afm transitional primer and afm safecoat ? Or do I use afm new wallboard prime coat in replacement of the transitional primer? Will it have the same encapsulation properties? The AFM SafeCoat, New Wallboard Primecoat product page states, "Protects indoor air quality � seals in chemical off-gassing". It is meant to be used on and seal new gypsum wallboard (sheetrock) and textured wallboard. You will then use two coats of the AFM SafeCoat, Zero VOC Paint. Order small samples online first to test.
