The only product that may work is AFM's Polyureseal BP. This is a water-based, non toxic floor sealer. It usually goes directly on the floor, but MAY be able to go over milk paint (provided the milk paint is water-based and non-glossy). A glossy paint would probably inhibit the Poly BP from bonding well, if you are working with a glossy paint surface, you could try deglossing/sanding the surface to remove the gloss. This will add some teeth to the surface that the Poly BP will better bond to. I would recommend ordering a sample of Poly BP and testing it on the milk paint to make sure it bonds well. Should it adhere, Poly BP provides excellent protection from abrasions. It creates a smooth, hard topical coating.
