You will want to use the AFM SAfecoat EXT Exterior Polyureseal, per AFM's recommendation, as long as that hearth is not getting hot. Do a mild abrading sanding to give grip. Then use the EXT Exterior Polyureseal as it should stick to that water based polymer coating as well as if there happen to be any exposed stone areas. It is best to first test for adhering. You may order a small sample online first for this purpose. If that hearth area is getting hot, we have no products that will work.
