Will this product darken wood? I do projects with old wood, and I want to keep their natural color, while making them stronger and glossy

Water based topcoats generally do not darken wood like an oil based topcoat does. However, it is still always best to order a small sample online first to test to make certain you love the finish before buying the full product amount.
