Should SafeCoat Safe Seal or SafeCoat Hard Seal be used on painted MDF to stop off-gassing? The paint that was used is matte, very low sheen, Thank you for your time.

Please use AFM Hard Seal over the top of any painted surface (assuming water-based paint). This produces a glossy surface. If that is not desirable, then use our AFM AcriGlaze instead as it comes in a matte finish and will block VOCs as well.
