Hello Miguel, I would recommend sticking with an oil-based sealer. Our other customers have found success using the Bioshield Hard Oil #9 on their adobe floors.Since packed dirt can be a bit of a broad term, I would recommend getting a 3-4 oz sample size for $9.95 for further testing. Apply to an inconspicuous area to see if this product would be a good fit for your particular floor.
