Could this be used on a previously painted outdoor wooden (cedar) children's playhouse? I don't want to affect the color of the paint already on there. If not, what would you recommend instead?

We sell nothing that is formulated to go over oil-based products.Also, penetrating oil-based products cannot be applied over otherwise sealed/painted/stained products ("penetrating" is the key term).What is your end goal here?
