Marble is generally porous and requires a sealer. However, unpolished or honed marble is more porous and polished marble is much less porous. It is difficult to seal polished marble due to the density and tightness of the surface. Unfortunately, we do not offer any sealers for polished marble. However, If your marble is unpolished or honed, (not polished) we recommend 2 or 3 thin coats of our AFM Mexeseal. This non-toxic very low VOC sealer dries completely clear and will not yellow over time.We do not recommend AcriGlaze for Marble because it is an artist's glaze. It is not intended to seal Marble.
