I am looking for a product for my new raw butcher block countertop that will not yellow or amber the wood. I know you usually recommend the penetrating oil for this purpose but when testing a sample piece of wood with mineral oil we did not love the yellow look of the wood. I assume any of the natural hemp oils/blends will do the same. I read online I need a water based sealer or finish. Which would be the safest to do so? We will not be cutting on the surface or eating directly off of it. I am also looking at your Acrylaq. Thank you for your help! Rebecca

Assuming you will not be cutting on the surface, AFM Polyureseal BP or Acrylic would be the top choices. The former has more abrasion and moisture resistance. Both will dry clear and will not yellow. Both are non-toxic and will not off-gas once dry in a few days.
