None of our primers/paints we sell are meant to stick to cast iron. The metal primer will only stick to steel, galvanized metal and aluminum.
To paint outdoor cast iron furniture do I use metal primer or transitional primer? The plan is to remove the previous paint completely 1. use a primer 2. use All Purpose Exterior Satin Paint SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Transitional Primer (Int/Ext) Paints & Primers
