Can we put this over our wood ceiling in basement that was sprayed with fiberlock 6100? it's putting off horrible smell and also causing allergic reaction. Hoping we can put this on all wood. Thanks!

AFM SafeSeal was made to block VOC emissions on porous wood. Once wood has been painted it is no longer porous. Therefore, you should use 2-3 coats of AFM HardSeal instead. One coat will cover about 350 SF/gallon. Samples are available on our website for testing.
