Hot and cold dishes, your tabletop will last longer (Acrylacq would work fine) if you use trivets or hot pads. This is true of any finish over wood.
Can I set hot dishes or cold items on a kitchen table that has an AFM Acrylacq sealer? SAMPLE - AFM SafeCoat, Acrylacq, Matte Wood Stains & Sealers
