The AFM Naturals Clear penetrating oil is going to have a slight ambering effect where the bioshield herbal Oil does not. Either one would work great for your application. The main reason to choose one over the other would be the ambering, otherwise they are both going to give you a food safe surface. Both are going to give you a water resistant surface.
