We have used an oil based paint on a wooden wardrobe. Whilst the smell has gone in the room if you smell the wardrobe close up you can still smell the paint and I am concerned about VOC. CAN YOU RECOMMEND a paint primer that could be used at all? Suzy Perks

To encapsulate that chemical off-gassing coming off the oil paint, we would recommend, once the oil paint is completely dry, go over that with AFM Safecoat Transitional Primer (which is formulated to be able to bond to either oil-based and water-based products) and follow that with AFM Safecoat Zero VOC Paint. These two work in conjunction to seal and stop chemical off-gassing.
