vaVg&feature=emb_logo the video example shows a floating floor, but glue down floor repair would work more or less the same, just with the added complication of removing the glued down portion of the floor and adhesive beneath. Depending on the subfloor you are going over this can be achieved through chiseling and possibly including some kind of mastic remover to pull up enough of the dried glue so you can get fresh adhesive beneath your new replacement plank.
