In trying out your bioshield clay paints ( I love them), I had a wet paper towel rubbed across the dry paint (dry for days) and it came right off. What can I put over my 800 ft. of wall (where I will put the clay paint) to make it behave like regular paint, where I can wash smudges off without the clay paint coming off? I've also been looking at this Wall Glaze product and I know you mentioned somewhere about applying AFM SafeCoat Acrylacq in another Q&A. Can that be put on the full clay-painted wall? Will it change the sheen? I'd like a flat or matte sheen. Should I just change to ECOS Paint? If I do, can I put the Wall Glaze or Acrylacq on the clay areas I have now, so the clay will not wash off? View answer

Hi, I would like to created a mixture of semi gloss and eggshell transparent/translucent glazed finish with a sponged and brushed copper and bronze finish over a deep red and or terracotta wall. I like the idea of either outright metallic pigments or more of a pearlescent finish. Do you have any suggestions for green product options? View answer

I've gotten interested in color washing walls. Every "recipe" I've seen so far has used latex glaze that has high vocs. Will this work as a substitute, mixed with an acrylic paint and water to color wash over an existing acrylic layer? I am looking at using Behr premium plus paint which is acrylic. View answer

Would this product be appropriate, as a first and/or only coat, to seal and protect new, raw white plaster walls (once they are fully dry)? If so, would this product darken the plaster, or dry completely clear? And if I want to tint this product, will the effect be different if the tinted coat is applied OVER an un-tinted coat? And finally, if I someday want to paint over this product with ordinary wall paint, will it require any special preparation? Thank you! View answer
