How easy is this to use on pine? It states above : "NOTE 2: Soft woods like pine are very porous and often appear splotchy unless sanded and treated properly by professionals." So if I sand it, would it still be blotchy because a professional has an extra step that they would do? View answer

I got a Cypress porch swing for my birthday, I want to stain it in an actual color that is stain, not paint, like blue or something. It is hard to find stain in actual colors that is for exterior projects. Is this a good stain for a porch swing project? Any advice would be appreciated. It will be outside on my patio, it will be undercover but at the end of the patio and will get some weather, rain and snow. Thank you in advance for your comments. View answer
