I am looking to seal an area around a HVAC vent where asbestos (possibly) tiles have cracked. The tiles have been covered with plywood and laminate flooring, but since the cracked tiles are around the floor vent opening, I want to seal the edges. Will this product work for that? View answer

I just remodel my master bathroom. I also painted (Behr Marquee paint) and added new Pergo engineered hardwood floors. Unfortunately I haven't been able to sleep in my bedroom. As soon as I enter the room my nose, eyes and throat feel irritated. I have been having more frequent asthma attacks. I can feel that something is wrong in my bedroom and or bathroom. I purchased three 4 slot mail/paper organizers from Amazon. The seller says they are made of: "100% Natural Bamboo, Made of superior phyllostachys heterocycla (a kind of bamboo), real material, Not synthetic wood ;renewable and eco-conscious resources." They have an unpleasant smell. I can't tell if they shipped with a stain or sealer (natural looking) so don't know if the smell is from a coating or the material itself.
