Hello, can this be used on plastic? I want to recycle some plastic planters I found and use them for my organic herbs and vegetables, but I'd like to coat the inside of the pots with this product so that none of the plastic chemicals leach into my soil. Can this product be used for that purpose? Thank you! View answer

Hi, there. What product would you recommend for a brand new solid wood table and solid wood chairs that are off-gassing? I thought I'd be safe with all solid wood but unfortunately they used a clear glossy sealant on the table and chairs and they are off-gassing. I tried to find out what they used but all they disclosed was that it is water-based. Thank you for your help! View answer

I have a wash and pack room on my small organic farm. The floor is concrete and needs to be sealed. It gets a lot of traffic daily and at least one day per week can have water on it for several hours while we wash vegetables (not underwater). The floor needs to not be slippery in any way. Is the Green Building Supply, Penetrating Concrete Sealer what I should use? I also have a walk in cooler with a concrete floor (insulated underneath). Can I also use this product with temperatures that remain between 37-43? Thanks! View answer

Is this safe to use on a indoor/outdoor play gym made from birch plywood. This is the sealer they recommended but I don't see anything about this being safe for kids to be playing around on or whether it can be used on something that will be inside the house half the year (winter months) and outside half the year (summer months). Also how long would it be usable after opening. As in if I plan or reapplying every so often can I buy in bulk and save leftovers for a prolonged period? View answer

Hi! We exposed concrete columns in our 1961 condo and think it would be good to apply a sealer of some sort. One reason would be to create a smoother service in the event someone brushes up against the wall so clothes won't snag or skin won't get scratched. What product would work best for that? We are not looking to paint and do not want a wet look Thank you! View answer

Planning a kitchen install. My original floor is wall to wall, including under cabinets, appears to be Armstrong linoleum sheet flooring. As I plan to remove the cabinets to have them re-finished, I would like to do another wall to wall installation. I understand a floating floor does not lend itself to be placed under fixed furnishings. While I have seen reference to installing this floor as a floating floor over linoleum, can this product be installed as a glue-down directly over the original linoleum, assuming it is flat, smooth, and sound, or will I need to go down to the original subfloor if I am planning a wall to wall glue-down installation? I have read the standard and glue-down installation guides and do not see a clear answer. View answer
