You state that the area must be climate controlled before, during and after installation. For an RV/Fifth Wheel would it not be sufficient to keep the interior AC running continuously to provide that temperature, or does the external side (bottom) of the vehicle floor also need to be at that temperature? I'm wondering why I would need to keep my RV in a climate controlled garage before/during/after the process. View answer

Will this adhere to semi-gloss paint? The previous owners of our home used semi-gloss on the ceiling in some areas. I hate it and I am wanting to switch to eggshell of matte. I am hoping to find a non-toxic solution that does not require us having sand and retexture the ceilings. Would this work or do you have another product you would recommend? Thanks! View answer

Could I use AFM Safecoat Almighty to bind face mask two cotton fabric layers together to form a seam? I don't see well enough to sew with machine and want a personalized fit, not possible in disposable masks or one size fits all versions. After cured, would this be safe near respiration for longer periods? View answer

I have a juniper shower wall that I want to seal or coat to offer more protection. This shower doesn't get used frequently, maybe once a month at most, but I want more than just the raw wood. Though I used a waterproof glue between each tongue and groove seam, I hope to get more protection from water damage and was looking for something appropriate for a vertical space that will get wet. Is this an appropriate product? I was also considering the Watershield from Safecoat. View answer

We are thinking about using caramel brown rolled bamboo (Forever Bamboo or Backyard X-capes) for our fences. The manufacturer recommends applying their "specially formulated TWP [Total Wood Protector] with UV Inhibitors", but the MDS says that it is "toxic to fish" and has a maximum coating VOC of 250 grams/liter. Which product would you recommend that would be applicable to bamboo, low/zero VOC, and environmentally friendly? View answer

Can you use this on natural rope that I may be using in between deck boards in a screened in porch? I don't want to actually stain the old deck though, I just want to stuff the natural rope, after it is soaked in the stain, and wedge it into the spaces. But maybe I will stain the existing deck, too. Any ideas for the right product for the rope or the rope and the deck? View answer

We moved into a house with an old carpet and we know for a fact the prior owners used lots of chemicals on their lawn. They left a garage full of them. Is this something we can use to clean and "encapsulate" any chemicals left in the carpet or is the only way to replace the whole carpet? Thank you! View answer

I have oil based paint on my cabinets and woodwork in my home. House was painted 16 years ago when I purchased it. It is now needing to be painted but I am allergic to toxic oil based paint. I have been told my cabinets should be sanded and a primer applied before painting a water based latex paint. I'm told primers That are used for this have a terrible odor when applied and I need to avoid anything with strong odors and toxic chemicals. Do you have a primer that would take care of this issue...? .thank you..Liz .. View answer

I am trying to prevent off gassing in a box truck with a wooden floor. The truck was used as an automotive service vehicle, so oil spillage and potentially other automotive chemicals spilled on the wooden floor of the box. Will this product be sufficient to protect me if I treat the floors with it? I would be inside for hours at a time (I'm a technician and this truck would be my mobile workshop). View answer

We are painting all new trim, our customer is VERY VERY sensitive to many things. We've used your ecolacq sandable primer. Lots of bleed thru for our Poplar Wood, is your transitional primer sandable? I believe the only products we are approved to use are the AFM Safecoat products. View answer
