I (apparently) overapplied this product to a sandstone floor and it left a white hazy residue, with opaque white in the crevices of the stone. How do I remove this residue? Also, if I want a more satin finish, can Safecoat Mexeseal be applied over Safecoat Penetrating Waterstop, or does the latter need to be completely removed, and if so, how? View answer

Plan to install travertine flooring. Per industry recommendations, will use two layers of 3/4" subfloor (not glued together) to get a stiff floor section. However, we are concerned such a stiff floor will be 'hard' to walk on, day in, day out. Would cork add some 'give' back to this floor if applied on top of the two layers of 3/4 subflooring? Can SuperClean be used as a Non-Ionic Surfactant for herbicides? I've read dishwashing liquids Dawn and others can be used as Non-Ionic Surfactants to help herbicides stick better, about 1 tbsp per gallon of water. If it can be used, how much would I use since SuperClean is so concentrated? View answer

I purchased the Bioshield Stain Finish in Indigo for my cypress porch swing, I am done with staining it and it turned out absolutely beautiful by the way. I want to add sealant on this, since it is outside. I do not want it real shiny or slick, just a coat to protect mostly keep my stain beautiful. Do I go with the safecoat EXT Satin only or use the safecoat EXT gloss first then the satin? Thank you in advance. View answer

I am looking for a primer that will work for both new drywall (approx. 120 sf) and previously painted walls (approx. 120 sf) Will the ECOS Universal Primer fit the bill? (I know ECOS has the Interior Wall primer meant specifically for new drywall, but I'd prefer not to buy two cans of different primers. That would be a bit too much primer.) Thank you! View answer

I just bought a dining table that is stained pine. Is this the best product to use to seal and protect it so food or oils from food do not stain it and it can be easily wiped up? The person who built it recommended a polyurethane coat but I'm worried about toxic chemicals especially where we will be eating food. View answer
