Hi I found an empty birds nest (slightly broken with broken piece within range) outside this fall on the sidewalk.. I determined that this nest is abandoned and not reusable to any birds. I'd like to preserve this nest somehow will this material be useful in that process ? The nest is made of tree branches and mud. I have put it in a plastic bag for some time then I will take it out and attempt to cure/dry it. Once I am done it will remain indoors Thanks View answer

My landlord just re grouted the grout lines on our kitchen countertop which has porcelain tiles. Our place is very old, and he used a white TEC Color Matched Sanded Caulk Grout. It has cured but is a little rough because of the sand in it. He said he is not doing anything else to it, but will pay for inexpensive material(s) for us to do our self if there is something to smooth/seal it. Would grout sealer work? We have kids and really need to get this fixed. View answer

Do not freeze' query: is this just in regard to storage and application process? Is it acceptable to apply on to wood that will experience freezing temps after it cures? Ex: Deck w/ snow, interior of a non-insulated shed, floor of an enclosed utility trailer, etc. View answer

Plan to install travertine flooring. Per industry recommendations, will use two layers of 3/4" subfloor (not glued together) to get a stiff floor section. However, we are concerned such a stiff floor will be 'hard' to walk on, day in, day out. Would cork add some 'give' back to this floor if applied on top of the two layers of 3/4 subflooring? I (apparently) overapplied this product to a sandstone floor and it left a white hazy residue, with opaque white in the crevices of the stone. How do I remove this residue? Also, if I want a more satin finish, can Safecoat Mexeseal be applied over Safecoat Penetrating Waterstop, or does the latter need to be completely removed, and if so, how? View answer
