Planning a kitchen install. My original floor is wall to wall, including under cabinets, appears to be Armstrong linoleum sheet flooring. As I plan to remove the cabinets to have them re-finished, I would like to do another wall to wall installation. I understand a floating floor does not lend itself to be placed under fixed furnishings. While I have seen reference to installing this floor as a floating floor over linoleum, can this product be installed as a glue-down directly over the original linoleum, assuming it is flat, smooth, and sound, or will I need to go down to the original subfloor if I am planning a wall to wall glue-down installation? I have read the standard and glue-down installation guides and do not see a clear answer.

Wall to wall installation would be just fine, and under cabinets and appliances are just fine provided the linoleum you are going over is flat and stable, and you do a glue-down installation.
