Wall to wall installation would be just fine, and under cabinets and appliances are just fine provided the linoleum you are going over is flat and stable, and you do a glue-down installation.
Planning a kitchen install. My original floor is wall to wall, including under cabinets, appears to be Armstrong linoleum sheet flooring. As I plan to remove the cabinets to have them re-finished, I would like to do another wall to wall installation. I understand a floating floor does not lend itself to be placed under fixed furnishings. While I have seen reference to installing this floor as a floating floor over linoleum, can this product be installed as a glue-down directly over the original linoleum, assuming it is flat, smooth, and sound, or will I need to go down to the original subfloor if I am planning a wall to wall glue-down installation?
