My husband and I really appreciated advice from your experts. New project: our 1970s yellowish laminate countertops. On a very limited budget raising a large family. With each upgrade we want to pursue safer choices. We've read about concrete countertops on the EWG site as being safe with no off-gassing. Also read about concrete overlays of existing laminate countertops. We would really appreciate advice on how to affordably and safely upgrade approx 55sq feet of laminate countertop. Are concrete overlays safe? What overlay product is safest? What concrete sealer for food surfaces? Curious if linoleum countertops over the laminate would be a safe affordable choice. If so what product is safest and most affordable? Thank you, Emily Herron
