Hello, Do I need a carpet cleaning machine to use this product? And part 2, Can this product remove an enzyme cleaner that I used in a small spot on my rug? About 2 feet by 2 feet. I thought it had only enzymes, but in fact there is an unpleasant and troubling fragrant odor. It was supposed to dissipate when dry. That was 3 days ago and it is unbearable for me. (I have spoken to the company but they are not helpful.) Will all 3 products work together to get rid of this odor, even if it's caused by a fragranced spray for urine removal? SafeChoice Carpet Shampoo should be applied using a hand-held pump sprayer. One similar to a garden sprayer is most effective, but it can be used with any carpet cleaning machine. When used as part of the 3 part carpet shampoo and sealing system, it will encapsulate off gassing of toxic chemicals.
