what are the ingredients in safe choice carpet shampoo? is it ok to just apply carpet lockout on a new carpet and leave out the seal?

Ingredients of the AFM Safechoice Carpet Shampoo are Water, Non-ionic plant surfactant, Water softener, White oleic acid, Monoethanolamine, and Sodium percarbonate. The Carpet Shampoo can be used on its own. The other two components of the Comprehensive 3-Part Carpet Shampoo and Sealing System, Carpet Seal and Lock Out, need to be used together if you wish you stop your synthetic carpet from off-gassing. Half measures will not work.
