It does not create an airtight seal. Actually air flow is encouraged to help prevent moisture buildup under the floor.
Is this an air barrier as well as a vapor barrier? I'm wondering if we need to use an additional air barrier like an Intello membrane below it if we use it over an unconditioned/vented crawl space. QuietWalk Plus 100SF Roll Adhesives and Underlayment
