What underlayment do you recommend under electric radiant heat under stone tiles and over a thin concrete slab at grade? Thinking about a high R value and possibly a moisture barrier. Thank you!

Normally you don't want to use an underlayment when installing stone tiles, as this goes on with thin-set mortar directly onto the concrete slab.If you are convinced you need something, we would recommend you reach out to the company that makes the stone tiles or electric radiant heat to see what they recommend. They would be the only ones who would know what would work for your situation. As we do not sell stone tile or radiant heat, we don't have a clear idea.
