Hello, I am installing a click-lock engineered hardwood flooring on top of an existing wood floor. The manufacturer recommended underlayment is a 2-in-1 foam underlayment, max 1/8" thick. A vapor barrier is important here as the level directly below is the cellar (not heated) and there is no subfloor below the existing floor. Do you recommend MP Global, QuietWalk Plus for this situation? Thank you!

We suggest you contact the manufacturer of your engineered hardwood flooring to see if they approve of MP Global, QuietWalk Plus as an underlayment. Every engineered floor is different and, although we know QuietWalk Plus has been approved for the products we sell, it may not be suitable for the flooring you have.
