That is fine, but 3 coats would be better. You'll want to lightly sand over that second coat first before applying a 3rd coat. Fewer coats may be used over non-porous surfaces. Be patient and allow to dry inbetween coats. Cooler temperatures can also slow dry time.For best appearance:For the best surface clarity, multiple coats of gloss is best.
