It's always ideal to seal it with the PermaBond if the underside is accessible. No need to use the DeckRevive. That way moisture will not be absorbed up through the bottom and rot the wood from underneath.
I need to restore my deck, but have never painted a deck. Given the application method, what do you do about the underside of the deck? Is it common to leave it untreated? Gulf Synthetics DeckRevive Wood Stains & Sealers
