Gloss is the manufacturers tested and highly recommended paint sheen to go with, and if you deviate from that instruction you will end up with an unwarranted product, as spelled out in the application instructions : https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/c... That said, the manufacturer offers this response to the question "Why Gloss Paint?" We highly recommend that you choose a Gloss sheen when mixing with DeckRevive and Concrete Revive for this simple reason, Gloss is more cleanable. The final sheen ends up to be closer to a Satin/Semi-Gloss.
