I was hoping to use this on patio furniture, but I see that it is interior only. The furniture is under a deck and will not be directly rained on, but will be exposed to extreme humidity (I live in Mississippi) and the occasional rain blowing in. Rubio Monocrat makes an exterior product for outdoor woodwork called Rubio Hybrid Exterior Wood Protector. It come in very nice colors and lasts a long time. Do not use the Oil Plus 2C for outdoor use. If you have teak, you will need to rough up the surface first with light sandpaper 120 grit. Be sure to clean the surface first with their amazing exterior wood cleaner. Another option is our Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey Exterior Penetrating Sealer which works equally well on wood furniture. It is a water-based product and holds up very well in all climates.
