Could I use this paint to cover painted wood trim with VOCs?

The ECOS Air Purifying Paint product is not made for that use. If you need to encapsulate VOCs in your trim paint, first use AFM SafeCoat Transitional Primer (Int/Ext), then topcoat with AFM SafeCoat Ecolacq. AFM Safecoat Ecolacq is a tintable high-gloss lacquer that's non-toxic and has no off-gassing of toxic chemicals. It's a perfect water-based substitute for high solvent lacquers that can be applied to most woodwork such as cabinets, furniture, doors, windows, etc.
