Per our product description write-up: NOTE: Primer is required over new drywall, skimcoat, plaster, plywood, OSB, 2x4s, metal and when color difference is high. No primer is required over existing water-based interior similar color paint or existing Caliwel.Under hardwood in your bathroom should work well to help inhibit mold in that space.
