Does this primer block tannins and is it safe for painting a baby crib?

None of the products we sell block organic wood smells or tannins.One route you could go involves using chemicals to block the tannins (then you can block the chemicals) You would first need to go to a box store and purchase a waxless shellac (the shellac will off-gas) to apply over the wood. This will encapsulate the tannins.Then, you may use the AFM Transitional Primer over the coats of dried shellac, followed by the AFM Zero VOC paint over that. This combination will make the baby crib safe from tannins.
