You can definitely use this over oil-based primer. Latex is a little more complicated, as we've heard from customers and AFM's technical department that this primer will not work over Sherwin Williams Promar 200 Zero VOC paint (which is a latex paint) - and it's enough of an issue that this has been added to the installation instructions.We'd suggest you purchase a sample to establish there is no reaction to the latex paint you are priming over.Transitional Primer Application Instructions: https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/c...
