Yes, all our flooring requires a flat smooth subfloor. The waterproof cork floor installation instructions: "variations (in subfloors) should not exceed 5mm in 2m (0.20" in 6.6 feet)". These are readily available at most hardware stores or box stores. We recommend both Ardex Feather Finish or Chemrex Level Prep.
