How is the waterproof cork flooring different than the traditional cork flooring feel-wise? We love the feel of cork and the idea of it being waterproof is appealing but does it take away from the natural feel? How thick is the waterproof coating or is it kind of soaked into the cork? I see that the traditional also has an acrylic layer on top. How is it different?

The feel of traditional cork and waterproof cork are almost the same. It's not likely you could tell the difference as both are very comfortable to walk on. The coating on any of the Cork Look floors is a UV cured acrylic which is the exact same finish as the traditional cork. The waterproof Wood Look however, does have a different feel as it is a recycled PET finish with a printed image of wood. It has an embossed texture and is even more durable than the Cork Look. Neither product contains nanoparticles or aluminum oxides. Waterproof cork emits zero VOCs, has no biocides, isocyanates, PVC, phthalates or any hazardous air pollutants.
